Free puzzles are for personal, family and classroom use. The Publisher licence adds commercial rights for books, printables and products you sell. The font we embed (Atkinson Hyperlegible) is under the SIL Open Font License, which allows embedding in documents you sell.
After placing your words we put the message letters into the leftover squares, in reading order, at a fixed spacing (every square, every 2nd or every 3rd). The puzzle page tells solvers which, and the answer key marks them.
Book PDFs use KDP's published trim sizes and minimum margins for the page count, embed all fonts, and pad to KDP's 24-page minimum with lined Notes pages. Always check the KDP previewer before you publish, and make your book different from what is already listed: KDP rejects undifferentiated content.
